Background. In August 2017, I was asked to create and donate a drawing to be auctioned off to support a wonderful non-profit, H20 for Life. The drawing was well received and I was asked if I had other works available for purchase. As a result of that experience, I decided to finally act on an idea my life partner, Karen Holmen, had been suggesting for more than a year. The idea was to develop a line of note cards from my drawings; market them in the local communities they depict; and donate 100 % of card sales' net-proceeds to non-profits that provide assistance and support to children and families in need.
